Google Drive has started rolling out timestamped comments for videos on the web, allowing users to leave feedback at exact moments in a video.
The feature works with Google Drive’s existing collaboration tools, including regular comments, replies and @mentions. Google said the feature is enabled by default for Google Workspace customers and personal Google accounts.
Users can create timestamped comments only on the web version of Google Drive.
The update lets reviewers attach feedback directly to a specific point in a video, instead of referring to a time manually in a standard comment.
