WHMCS and CoCCA have specific server requirements to ensure proper functionality. WHMCS needs a web server that supports PHP, a MySQL or MariaDB database, and specific PHP extensions. CoCCA, as a domain registry system, needs to comply with ICANN standards and secure its API access with IP restrictions, 2FA, and other measures.
WHMCS Server Requirements:
- Web Server: Any web server that supports PHP, such as Apache or Nginx.
- PHP: Version 7.2 or later, with PHP 7.4 being preferred.
- Database: MySQL 5.6 or later, or MariaDB.
- PHP Extensions: PDO, cURL, SimpleXML, GD, JSON, and others (see below).
- SSL Certificate: Highly recommended for secure transactions.
- Ioncube Loaders: Version 4.6.1 or higher (4.7.5 or higher recommended).
Specific PHP Extensions (in addition to the default compiled extensions):

Required:cURL with SSL, GD2 Image Library, JSON Support, PDO, PDO_MySQL (compiled with mysqlnd), Reflection, XML.

CoCCA Server Requirements:

ICANN Compliance:CoCCA must adhere to all relevant RFCs and standards set by ICANN, particularly Specifications 6 and 10 of the ICANN base agreement.

Security:CoCCA’s API access needs to be secured using IP restrictions, 2FA, browser fingerprints, and tokens.

Public-facing API:Public-facing API and clients should run off read-only database replicas to enhance security.

EPP Access:EPP (Extensible Provisioning Protocol) access should be secured with IP address restrictions, TLD managed client keys, and passwords
