Facebook launches stand-alone Creator Studio app with AI tools

Facebook said on Wednesday it is rolling out a stand-alone Creator Studio app for iOS in the United States and Canada, adding AI tools aimed at helping creators grow audiences and manage engagement.

The official launch follows testing with select creators that began a few weeks ago. The app includes an AI creator assistant that gives personalized recommendations based on a creator’s content style, performance, audience engagement and goals.

Facebook said creators can use the assistant to get quick answers to questions such as when to post and what people are saying in their comments, and can ask follow-up questions.

Creator Studio also includes an AI-powered comment tool that identifies comments it considers most important and drafts replies in the creator’s tone, Facebook said.

Creators can edit and approve those suggested replies before posting them.

When creators open the app each day, they will see a feed of priorities that includes reviewing the latest post’s performance, tracking progress toward goals and comments flagged for a reply.

Meta is releasing the app as it competes for creator attention with TikTok and YouTube.

The launch adds to a recent run of new Meta apps, including Forum for Facebook Groups, Instants for sharing disappearing photos with Instagram friends, Pocket for gaming and StoryKit for AI-generated children’s stories.
